AGX Engineering produces accurate, production-ready 3D CAD models for custom components, assemblies, and fabricated equipment. We work from concept sketches, reference photos, physical samples, or brief descriptions — delivering parametric models your fabricator or manufacturer can work from directly.
Our modelling work covers the full scope of a documentation package: individual part models, sub-assemblies, top-level assemblies, exploded views, and BOMs. Models are built clean and fully constrained so that downstream drawing production, DXF export, and future revisions are straightforward.

- What CAD software do you use?
- We model primarily in SolidWorks and Inventor. We can deliver native files in either format, or export to vendor-neutral formats (STEP, IGES, DXF) to suit your supply chain.
- Can you model from hand sketches or rough dimensions?
- Yes. We regularly start from annotated sketches, photographs, or verbal descriptions. Clear reference dimensions speed the process, but we can work with whatever information you have.
- Do we get the native CAD files?
- Native CAD files (SolidWorks .SLDPRT/.SLDASM or Inventor .ipt/.iam) are included as standard. If you need a specific format for your own CAD environment, let us know at the brief stage.
- What is your typical turnaround for a modelling project?
- A single-component part model typically takes one to three business days. A multi-part assembly with full documentation usually takes one to two weeks. Timeline is confirmed in the project proposal.
