About AGX Engineering

Specialist CAD modelling and fabrication drawing practice serving clients across Australia.

About AGX Engineering

Focused CAD Work, Every Project

AGX Engineering is a specialist CAD modelling and drafting practice delivering production-ready documentation to fabricators, manufacturers, and industrial operators across Australia. We work directly with clients to translate requirements into accurate drawings, 3D models, DXF files, and production documentation — outputs that workshops can act on without ambiguity.

AGX brings focused experience across 3D CAD modelling, engineering drafting, fabrication documentation, reverse engineering, and drawing revision work. We have delivered documentation for projects ranging from bespoke one-off components to ongoing documentation support, across industries including resources, transport, manufacturing, food and beverage, and agriculture.

Every project receives direct, experienced CAD support — without layers of account management or junior handoffs. This means faster turnaround, cleaner documentation, and fewer revision cycles for every client we work with.

To deliver engineering documentation that fabricators and manufacturers can rely on — precise, complete, and ready to use from day one.

Our Values

How We Work

The principles that guide every engagement, from initial brief to final delivery.

Precision

Engineering documentation must be unambiguous. We invest the time upfront to ensure our drawings, models, and specifications leave no room for interpretation on the shop floor.

Integrity

We provide honest assessments of what is and is not achievable, flag potential issues before they become costly problems, and stand behind the documentation we deliver.

Responsiveness

Engineering bottlenecks cost money. We maintain clear communication, realistic timelines, and rapid response to queries and revision requests throughout every engagement.

Expertise

We do not spread ourselves thin. Our practice focuses exclusively on mechanical and manufacturing engineering — the disciplines we know deeply — rather than offering a broad but shallow service catalogue.

Our Process

How a Project Works

A clear, four-step process from initial brief to final documentation delivery.

  1. Brief

Share your project requirements — sketches, existing drawings, photos, or a plain description. We ask targeted questions, confirm scope and deliverables, and set realistic expectations before any work begins.

  2. Proposal

We issue a fixed-fee proposal within one business day. The proposal itemises deliverables, revision allowance, and total cost. No hourly billing — you know exactly what you are paying for before approving.

  3. Model & Draft

We build the 3D CAD model and produce accurate fabrication drawings and DXF files, working to your manufacturing constraints and drawing conventions. A draft package is issued for your review before finalisation.

  4. Deliver

Final documentation — drawings, 3D models, and DXF files — is issued in the format required by your fabricator or workshop. We remain available for queries during fabrication.
